River Carron, Sutherland

The Club enjoys white water paddling through every season of the year.  Scotland offers rivers and conditions to satisfy every level of ability.  Newbies are not forgotten with beginner trips organised on a regular basis on rivers and conditions that are suitable to establish basic river skills and build self-confidence under the guidance of experienced coaches.

This year we plan to spend some weekends away under canvas to enjoy some rivers that involve a bit of a longer drive than the Clyde, Teith, Doon etc.  The paddling and the scenery more than justify the effort.  No doubt we will enjoy the usual banter and odd refreshment around the camp fire at night.

We do hold a stock of boats/equipment that new members can draw on, so don't let not having your own boat etc be a barrier for giving it a go.

Easy Rivers

Intermediate Rivers

Advanced Rivers

More information about these rivers (and lots of other rivers) can be found on the UKRiversGuidebook site.

Club trips are usually organised either on the Friday night before the trip or by means of the forum.

If anyone has any questions don't hesitate to ask on on a Friday night!
