We new members, particularly families, no matter what your current ability (never sat in a canoe or kayak, don't worry) or ultimate ambition whether that's to go steep creeking or gentle touring. We are a friendly club and we try to involve all our members fully in the Club and its activities.
We understand that if you are new to paddling, you might not be too sure if it's for you. You are welcome to come to three pool or loch sessions without having to join the club. You have to pay the pool fee or charge due to the Heritage Park. You are welcome to borrow Club boats or other equipment during these visits.
If you decide that you wish to join us,you can get membership form from the Secretary at the pool or loch sessions. Fill this in and return it with the right money. If you hold coaching qualifications, please show a copy of your coaching certificate, first aid certificate and other pre-requisites or certificates.
Members have full access to club equipment and are eligible to take part in trips. We also have discount arrangements with local suppliers. Members are also covered by the Club's Public Liability Insurance (note this is not personal accident insurance).
Memberships are renewable on 1 April each year and should be paid promptly.
